2013 Gay-Lussac Humboldt Prize for Emilian Dudas
The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation awarded the Gay-Lussac Humboldt Prize to Emilian Dudas, Research Director in theoretical physics at the Center for Theoretical Physics a joint research unit between the CNRS and École Polytechnique.
His nomination was submitted by Professor Wilfried Buchmüller, from the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) in Hambourg, Theory Group.
The prize was conferred to him in April 2014.

Awarded anually for the past 31 years, the Franco-German Gay-Lussac Humboldt scientific prize recognizes eminent scientists based in Germany and France, who have contributed to reinforcing Franco-German scientific collaboration through the quality and excellence of their resesearch, as well as developed promising projects for the cuture of this collaboration.
