A Summer School on Cell Migration in Health and Diseases took place at École Polytechnique from June 27th to July 3rd, 2018. This academic scientific event was organized by two long-standing partners, l’X and Tsinghua University.
Three École Polytechnique students will present their research on genetic and evolutionary algorithms at the GECCO World Conference that will be held in Kyoto, Japan, in July. These algorithms have numerous applications in artificial intelligence, but their theoretical understanding is still limited.
The project “PIONEER,” the aim of which is to train experts in CO2 recycling by plasma, won European financing from the 2018-2020 “Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions” program. Olivier Guaitella, CNRS researcher in the Laboratory of Plasma Physics will be PIONEER’s scientific coordinator.
On the occasion of a conference held in Israel on June 27-28, 2018, l’X, CNRS and ENSTA ParisTech, joint initiators and backers of the Laboratory of Applied Optics, and the Weizmann Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop and promote cooperation in research initiatives.
