A new double-degree program

With Université Bordeaux I
On Monday, January 23, 2011, in the presence of Patrick Hetzel, the President of Higher Education and Professional Insertion, École Polytechnique and Université Bordeaux 1 signed a double degree program agreement which combines their respective Ingénieur and Master's degrees. The signing took place at Université Bordeaux 1 Sciences Technologies in Talence, at 2:30pm, in the Administration Building [A33] in the Salle des Actes.
École Polytechnique and Université Bordeaux 1 thus wish to:
‐ develop together an attractive field of study on a national and international scale,
‐ promote student mobility between the universities and grandes écoles,
‐ enhance the educations of these students through multidisciplinarity,
‐ increase the diversity of students in both establishments,
‐ bring the faculties of both establishments closer together.
