Physicists finally have proved that neutrinos can undergo quantum transformations: the oscillation of flavors.
This result confirms that these particles have a mass, as has been long suspected.

Responsible for this proof is Michel Gonin, physicist, member of the T2K project, research director in the CNRS, professor and director of admissions and the competitive entrance examination at École Polytechnique.
