Education and Research Departments
École Polytechnique's education and research is organised into departments based on a given discipline, with lecturers and researchers from the research center laboratories combining research and educational activities.
They are placed under the responsibility of a departmental committee and president. Four of these departments (Biology, Chemistry, Mechanics and Physics) coordinate and run experimental centres for students.
