See my website for more details on passed and current projects: http://www.diani-research.com

My interest focuses on understanding and modeling the mechanical behavior of polymers. I inted to propose 3D descriptive models and when possible predictive ones based on the relationship between the microstructure and its evolution and the macroscopic mechanical behavior. My strengths include continuum mechanics, micromechanics and molecular dynamics.

General research interests:
- Linear viscoelasticity and time-temperature superposition of polymers
- Mechanical behavior and damage of particle reinforced polymers
- Mechanical behavior and fracture of rubbers
- Micromechanics modeling for polymers
- Shape-memory polymers

Current projects:

- Payne effect in rubbers
- Viscoelasticity and strength of adhesives
- Viscoelasticity of IPN
