  • In March 2016, École Polytechnique, also known as l’X, hosts students from the University of Tokyo and from Columbia University. During their stay on campus, the students from Japan and the USA will partner with students from l’X to participate to a unique cross-cultural experience: a 48-hour Tricontinental Hackathon.
  • École Polytechnique offers three new Graduate Degree Programs exclusively taught in English for the academic year 2016/2017. Designed for highly qualified undergraduate students with a solid background in science and/or engineering, these industry-oriented programs provide state-of-the-art multidisciplinary education and in-depth scientific knowledge. Registration opens in March.
  • Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST, Japan), École Polytechnique, also known as l’X, and the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), partner to create an International Collaborative Laboratory (ICL) for High Efficiency Perovskite Solar Cells.
  • École Polytechnique signed partnership agreements with three major universities in Iran: the University of Tehran, the University of Isfahan and Sharif University of Technology. The aim is for l’X to develop and promote the collaborations in the fields of education and research with these three universities, thus renewing with its tradition of cooperation with Iran.
  • Jacques Biot, President of École Polytechnique (also known as l’X), went to École polytechnique de Montréal on October 22nd to attend a Meeting of the Presidents of the member institutions of the Network of Excellence in Engineering Sciences of the French-speaking Community (RESCIF). On this occasion, l’X officially joined RESCIF.
