Jean-François Minster interviewed for l'X on Air

Jean-François Minster, who was Senior Vice-President, Scientific Development, at Total until January 2016, came at École Polytechnique to give a conference which is part of the Coriolis Institute’s cycle on energy and environment.

In this interview, Jean-François Minster presents the transformations and challenges that lay ahead in the field of energy and explains how we can anticipate those changes. Jean-François Minster also explains why academic partnerships with engineering schools and research institutions such as École Polytechnique are important. Total, which sponsors the Academic and Research Chair ‘Advanced Concepts in Photovoltaics’ as well as École Polytechnique's Renewable Energy Science & Technology Master’s program (Université Paris-Saclay), and which has co-founded the Paris-Region Photovoltaic Institute with l’X and a few other selected partners, is indeed a major partner for École Polytechnique. As an Alumnus of École Polytechnique, Jean-François Minster also gives insights to the students who are interested in doing a career in the field of energy.
