Description

A poorly defined pedagogical objective can make a course unclear, disengage learners, or complicate the assessment of their progress. Yet, formulating precise, measurable objectives that align with real learning expectations remains a challenge for many educators. How can we avoid overly generic formulations like "understand" or "discover"? How can we ensure that each objective effectively guides the selection of content and activities? How can we ensure that objectives are student-centered?

This training invites you to rethink how you craft your pedagogical objectives by leveraging two key tools:

Bloom's Taxonomy, to clarify the expected level of mastery (memorization, application, analysis, etc.);
Pedagogical alignment, to ensure that your objectives, content, and assessments form a coherent whole.
