Mus’X (The Museum of École polytechnique) presents the collections and funds managed by The Historical Resource Center of the Library. These collections date back to the creation of the School in 1794 and they were established for teaching and / or research purposes.  The collections are very diverse and include scientific instruments, busts, uniforms, iconography, archives, a historical library. These objects illustrate the history of the Ecole polytechnique and the history of science in general, they also invite visitors to walk an intersectional, multidisciplinary path through a history of politics, the military, science and technology, business, and arts and humanities.

The mus'X was created by sponsorship agreement between the École Polytechnique and  AMUSIX.

You can get to the MUS'X through the main entrance of the library (BCX). Take a left and go down the stairs (to "-2 level" ) to the ground garden.
