  • Adapt their gestures and positioning to different teaching situations;
  • Encourage authentic questions and foster student participation.

Description

Body, Voice, and Gestures: This workshop focuses on characterizing the components of teaching presence and experimenting with their impact on student engagement, as well as fostering a positive learning climate and interactions. Through exercises inspired by improvisational theater, participants will enrich and refine their own teaching presence.

The workshop will alternate between practical exercises, role-playing scenarios, and group discussions to facilitate the transfer of these skills into the classroom.
