Learning Outcomes

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Assess the impact of generative AI on their pedagogical objectives, from both the perspective of student learning and the evolution of their discipline;
  • Design pedagogical activities resilient to generative AI by implementing strategies tailored to their teaching context;
  • Develop assessment methods resistant to AI use, adapted to their specific teaching context.

Description

Generative AI presents educators with concrete challenges on two complementary levels. First, the tool is widely used by students, fundamentally reshaping the nature of the pedagogical contract. Second, it variably impacts the disciplinary skills that underpin learning objectives.

This workshop invites you to assess the impact of AI on your teaching along these two dimensions. You will then explore a range of strategies to adapt your pedagogical approach to your specific context and teaching style. The session will be built around concrete examples and practical work based on your own teaching experiences.
