The album "Organisation de la défense aérienne contre aéronefs du camp retranché de Paris", describes the methods, means and techniques used to defend the Paris region during the First World War.
 
 It is now available on the Ministry of Armed Forces' cultural portal "Mémoires des hommes".
 
The album belonged to Louis Renaud, a Polytechnicien from the class of 1882. A qualified artilleryman and professor at the École de Guerre, during the First World War he commanded the artillery of the 6th Army Corps, then, on an interim basis, the 132nd Infantry Division, then stationed in the Meuse. In February 1916, at the time of the German attack on Verdun, it found itself in the front line. General in 1917, on February 17, 1918, he was appointed superior commander of the anti-aircraft defense of the entrenched camp of Paris (CRP).
