New subscription: Europresse

09 May. 2023
Useful information, Resources

The library of École Polytechnique is pleased to introduce its new subscription to the Europresse database.

This new subscription is the result of collaboration between the five libraries of IP Paris (École Polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris and Télécom SudParis). It expands access to 20 simultaneous users, compared to the previous limit of 3. Access is open to all staff and students of the 5 schools.

Europresse has more than 17,000 sources of information (regional, national, international, generalist and specialized press, websites, biographies, etc.). Europresse is not only a searchable database, but also an offer of journals in native PDF format accessible via the "Publications" menu on the home page. The database documents are updated daily. Europresse has provided access to Le Monde content and archives since 1944.

Data export is possible, because Europresse is compatible with ZOTERO.

Its highly intuitive bilingual interface is accessible from a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Access methods are specific to each school. For École Polytechnique, access is only granted through IP recognition. This means that you can access Europresse by being connected to the school's internet network or through VPN.
