Zotero: unlimited storage

The École polytechnique has an institutional Zotero subscription for all its members, including students, researchers and staff. This subscription provides unlimited storage for bibliographic references and digital or PDF files.

How?

To access this storage:

• Set your @polytechnique.edu email address as either the primary or secondary email address in your Zotero account.
• To do this, go to zotero.org, log in and click on your name.
• In the menu under your name, select 'Settings'. This will take you to your Zotero profile. 
   

• Select 'Email' to access the page where you can modify the email(s) linked to your account.
• Add your institutional email address and you're done. You now have unlimited storage! 

You can verify your account by going to 'Settings', then 'Storage' and checking the quota. 

If you already have your @polytechnique.edu email address in Zotero, then unlimited storage is automatically enabled!

What is Zotero ?

Zotero is a reference manager. When you use a reference manager, the following tasks are involved:

• add/import references
• create a bibliography (individual or collaborative)
• cite while writing a paper

Zotero is a user-friendly and powerful reference manager. Not only is it free of charge, it is also free and open-source software with no restrictions due to the licence agreement. Zotero is also compatible with most word processors, and with Firefox and Chrome.
