École Polytechnique offers to support and incubate some of the country's most innovative technology start-ups within its Drahi - X Novation Center.
The X-Entrepreneurship program offers:
- The X-UP Accelerator, a six-month acceleration program for high-tech project leaders wishing to create their company.
- The X-Tech Incubator, for start-ups with a more advanced status, who wish to develop and surround themselves with the best possible players and partners.
- X-F4B, a high-tech prototyping space to work on innovative products, in collaboration with the École polytechnique laboratories.
Thanks to its X-Grant Silicon Valley scholarship, l'X grants $50,000 each year to two entrepreneurs with ties to the École and Silicon Valley. The winners also benefit from mentoring by l'X alumni, who are now entrepreneurs and investors in California.
As part of its partnership with the Eurotech Universities Alliance, some companies incubated at École Polytechnique have the opportunity to participate in the European Venture Program (EVP). EVP is a 12-day program during which entrepreneurs travel to partner universities to take part in specialized workshops, company meetings and inter-start-up competitions. These events are also an opportunity to develop a network of skilled professionals.
X-Entrepreneurship is also present in major international trade fairs and innovative ecosystems such as the CES in Las Vegas (USA), Slush Helsinki, VivaTech Paris.
In the United States, X-Entrepreneurship has developed strong links with various innovation players, including the Greentown Lab incubator and the MIT Venture Mentoring Service, the Harvard BioTech Club, the French Foreign Trade Representative network (CCE), FutureLabs, NYU's MakerSpace, the HAX and Parisoma incubators in San Francisco, StartX, Berkeley SkyDeck at the University of California, Berkeley, and Stanford Product Realization Lab.
