École polytechnique releases an online dynamic digital brochure to present its Research and Laboratories
École polytechnique has released an online animated digital presentation in French and English of its Research, one of its three core missions alongside Education and Innovation.
École Polytechnique has 23 laboratories, including 22 joint units with the French National Centre for Scientific Research, one of the world's leading research institutions.
With the support of unique facilities and internationally recognized know-how, École Polytechnique’s research staff combine the most fundamental aspects of research for the advancement of knowledge with the development of major, more applied fields that will meet the scientific, technological and societal challenges of the 21st century.
The 23 laboratories of École Polytechnique are fully integrated in the research center of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, of which École Polytechnique is a founding member along with ENSAE Paris, ENSTA Paris, Télécom Paris and TélécomSudParis. École Polytechnique has made the development of its research within IP Paris and its multidisciplinary research centers a strategic focus of its 2022-2026 development plan.
Designed for today's digital uses and produced in cooperation with many faculty members, the animated digital presentation of Research at École Polytechnique is organized in three parts:
- a general presentation with all the background information, key figures, presentation of the infrastructures, sponsorship and integration into IP Paris.
- a scientific focus on 4 of École Polytechnique's "strengths": mathematics, lasers and plasmas, metrology and particle physics.
- a catalog of laboratories with photos, presentations, key figures and links to their websites.
Research at École Polytechnique is a true catalyst for discovery and innovation. This new animated digital presentation, thanks to numerous videos and virtual tours, gives a complete and dynamic vision of one of École Polytechnique's major assets in a globalized higher education and research environment.
