The Master Data Science & AI for Business X-HEC, ranked 2nd worldwide in the QS 2026 rankings

The Master Data Science & AI for Business X-HEC (Data Science for Business) ranks second in the world in the 2026 QS in Business Analytics ranking. It ranked third in the world in previous editions. 

The QS Masters in Business Analytics ranking covers 16 programs in the 2026 edition, compared to 164 in the previous edition.

QS examines five criteria to establish this ranking: the reputation of graduates among employers (Employability), the professional development of its graduates (Alumni Outcomes), the quality of teachers and their research (Thought Leadership), the return on investment for students (Value for Money), and finally, gender diversity and the degree of internationalization among students and faculty (Class & Faculty Diversity).

The program continues to stand out for its excellent reputation among employers. It retains its top ranking in this category, achieved in 2023, and ranks second for the recognition of its faculty and their research. It has further improved its score in terms of return on investment for students, moving up from ninth to fourth place. 

Launched in 2016 and taught jointly by École Polytechnique and HEC Paris, this highly selective and internationally-oriented Master's program offers students the opportunity to study at two of the world's leading institutions in the fields of engineering and management.

The new class of the Master's in Data Science & AI for Business X-HEC includes 70 students of around 20 different nationalities.
