The Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC) Lima and l’X have signed a collaboration agreement to launch a dual degree program, following months of joint development. Starting in the 2026–2027 academic year, this program will provide a structured pathway for UTEC students to earn both a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from UTEC and a Master of Science and Technology (MS) degree from l’X in an accelerated timeframe.

The dual degree program is open to UTEC graduates in the following UTEC undergraduate programs: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Energy, Mechanics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Management and Digital Business, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, and Mechatronics.

UTEC is dedicated to training well-rounded engineers, equipping them with both technical expertise and interdisciplinary skills. Founded in 2011, the university is renowned for its academic excellence and commitment to pedagogical innovation, exemplified by its Moray* Laboratory—a hub for supporting faculty and fostering creative teaching initiatives.

Designed to address the evolving demands linked to new technologies and processes, UTEC’s undergraduate and graduate degree programs directly integrate these new pedagogical approaches in their components as they prepare students for the latest trends in modern engineering and the demands of globalization.
