Former director of the Center for Management Studies (CRG*), Michel Berry received the Olivier Lecerf Prize, awarded by the Académie des sciences morales et politiques, for his career achievements.

X1963, Ingénieur général des Mines and Director of Research at CNRS, Michel Berry is a specialist in management sciences. At École Polytechnique, he contributed to the development of the CRG, which he directed from 1974 to 1991.
He also founded the Gérer & Comprendre series of the Annales des Mines and the École de Paris du Management in 1993. He was also a member of the Scientific Council of the CNRS from 1992 to 1997, the International Editorial Advisory Board of Organization Science (1990-2000) and chair of the Carolyn Dexter Best International Paper Award Committee (1999-2001).
Each year, the Olivier Lecerf Prize recognizes an individual for their actions, work, lectures, or publications that illustrate a humanistic approach to business management.
