Start-up Tinental has won an award at the 2025 Korea Electronics Show
Since September 2024, Tinental has been supported by X-UP, École Polytechnique's deep tech incubator. The company develops intelligent optimisation technologies for industrial pumps, reducing energy consumption by up to 60% while maintaining the same level of production and extending equipment life.
The award, presented by the Korean Electronics Association (KEA) under the patronage of South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), recognises the world's best innovations each year.
At this international event, Tinental was the only Western company to receive an award, sharing the stage with major groups such as LG, Nvidia and Samsung, who were winners in other categories. There were seven categories in total, with only one winner per category.
In parallel with KES, Tinental won second place in the Tech4Good Pitch Contest organised by the French Tech Community Seoul and launched several pilot projects in South Korea.
This is a significant achievement for the founders and the 13-strong Tinental team, who are dedicated to using technology to promote sustainability.
"Winning the ESG Innovation Award at KES 2025 is a huge honour and a really valuable recognition from an international panel of experts. This award highlights the global impact of our technology and reinforces our ambition to expand internationally, particularly in Asia. I am very proud of my team – having Tinental listed alongside Samsung, LG, and Nvidia is remarkable recognition of their talent and commitment.
Energy consumption is a global challenge. Every year, a huge amount of energy is wasted by fluid dynamic machines. Tinental helps companies save billions of dollars while reducing their CO₂ emissions. Thanks to Caleno Energy, we provide a comprehensive solution that benefits everyone. Together, this becomes possible. Together, we can achieve more with less."
