Three MSc&T programs at École Polytechnique awarded in the 2026 Eduniversal rankings
Three Master of Science & Technology (MSc&T) programs at École Polytechnique were awarded in their respective categories by the 2026 Eduniversal ranking, confirming the program’s success and its alignment with the expectations of students and their future employers.
The MSc&T in Visual and Creative Artificial Intelligence (ViCAI) ranks first in the Artificial Intelligence category, as it did last year. The MSc&T in Energy Environment: Science, Technology, and Management (STEEM) retains its second-place ranking in the Energy – Renewable Energy category. The MSc&T Internet of Things: Innovation and Management (IoT) program has moved up one spot to third place in the Innovation Management category, behind the Master’s in Technology and Innovation Management offered by Paris Dauphine University/INSTN/Mines Paris and the PIC Master’s program offered by École Polytechnique/HEC/Télécom Paris.
Founded in 1994, Eduniversal Group publishes an annual ranking of the world’s best Master’s, MS, and MBA programs.
The Eduniversal ranking, which covers 96 fields of study in France and 1,543 degree programs, is based on three main criteria: the program’s reputation, graduates’ starting salaries, and student satisfaction.
Since 2017 and the launch of new degree programs by École Polytechnique, enrollment in the Master of Science & Technology (MSc&T) program has tripled, reaching nearly 430 students. For the 2025–2026 academic year, the MSc&T program attracted 1,242 applications—a 3% increase from the previous year—with 428 candidates admitted and 258 enrolled, including 65% international students and 33% female students.
A two-year science program taught entirely in English, École Polytechnique’s MSc&T program — which offers 13 tracks — aims to prepare a predominantly international student body for the technological, environmental, and societal challenges of the 21st century.
The 2025 "First Job" survey of 2024 graduates from the MSc&T program showed that nearly three-quarters of them were hired by companies within three months of completing their studies. All of them are satisfied or very satisfied with their first job experience. While two-thirds of MSc&T graduates are international students, 80% of employed graduates begin their careers in France.
