University Fair 2025: Navigating Paths to Excellence
After completing an engineering degree or bachelor’s program, which advanced studies or career paths—whether in France or abroad—best match your ambitions? To help students refine their plans and explore the many opportunities available to them, École Polytechnique organized the University Fair on October 14, 2025.
Thirty-six of the invited institutions were present on the École Polytechnique campus to talk with students and answer their questions. Coordinated by the École Polytechnique’s International Affairs Office, the Direction of the Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program, and the Direction of the Bachelor's Program, this event brought together six Grand Corps of the French State, fifteen international universities, and twelve French higher education institutions.
A diversity that reflects the wide range of possibilities available to students for their future specialization or exchange semester.

The University Fair also featured presentations by representatives from French and international institutions, which students found particularly valuable. In addition, Carnegie Mellon University, a higher education institution based in the United States, participated remotely by offering a videoconference broadcast in the lecture hall, followed by a live discussion with students.
The event was designed particularly for third-year students of the Ingénieur Polytechnicien program who can choose between different options for their fourth year – either to specialize at a partner engineering school, join a major technical or military corps of the State*, or pursue a Master's degree in France or abroad – and students in École Polytechnique’s Bachelor of Science program who are considering pursuing a Master's degree or an exchange program.
To help inform their choices, several recent graduates were also present at the University Fair to share their career paths and experiences: a master's degree at Imperial College or at Cambridge, or a master's specialization as part of a dual degree with HEC.
