The 29th X-Forum took place on January 24 and 25 in a hybrid format, allowing 2,000 students from the École Polytechnique and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris to meet with 160 companies and start-ups, schools and international universities and giving them them the opportunity to find an internship or a first job, identify academic opportunities, while establishing privileged contacts with the exhibitors.

Alongside the four special partners of this 29th edition - Vinci, Orange, Veolia and InstaDeep - many large companies from the consulting, finance, industry and communication and digital technology sectors were present. X-Forum continued to broaden the spectrum of its exhibitors by welcoming many start-ups and small companies.

Two conferences were organized on January 26 on the sidelines of the Forum: one entitled "Putting people back at the heart of companies", delivered by Hubert Joly, CEO of the American retail giant Best Buy, and the other devoted to the latest report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), given by Valérie Masson-Delmotte, Director of Research at the French Atomic Energy Commission and co-director of the IPCC's Group 1.
