The X-HEC MSc&T in Data Science and AI for Business, ranked 2nd in the world in the 2027 QS rankings

The X-HEC MSc&T Data Science and AI for Business program earned an overall score of 99.6 out of 100 and ranked second globally in the 2027 edition of the QS Masters in Business Analytics rankings. It had already held the second spot in the 2026 edition.

The program stands out in particular for its performance across several indicators. It continues to rank first in the world for “Employability,” which measures the program’s reputation among employers.

It also ranks first in Thought Leadership, an indicator that takes into account academic reputation, research impact, and the proportion of faculty members with a Ph.D. The program ranked second globally on this indicator in 2026.

The X-HEC MSc&T Data Science and AI for Business program has also improved its ranking in the “Value for Money” category, which takes into account return on investment and the time required to recoup the investment made in the program. It now ranks third globally, up from fourth in 2026.

The program also ranks eighth in the Alumni Outcomes category, which assesses, among other things, the professional impact of alumni who have become executives, entrepreneurs, or influential figures.

The QS Masters in Business Analytics ranking evaluates programs based on five categories of indicators: Employability (30%), Thought Leadership (20%), Value for Money (20%), Alumni Outcomes (20%), and Diversity (10%). The 2027 edition of the ranking is based, in particular, on responses from tens of thousands of employers and more than 200,000 academics in 60 countries.

Jointly offered by École Polytechnique and HEC Paris, the MSc&T in Data Science and AI for Business trains students in the challenges of data science and artificial intelligence as applied to business.
