Double-degree agreements have been signed in the region between the School and various partners such as the Korean Higher Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea (KAIST), the National University of Singapore (NUS) but also in China, with Peking University and Zhejiang University.
École Polytechnique (in partnership with three other ParisTech schools: Telecom, Mines and ENSTA) has opened an engineering training programme in China with Shanghai Jiao Tong University: SJTU-ParisTech Engineering Institute of Technology (SPEIT). This training of excellence is based on a 6-year training cycle in French, including some courses in English and Chinese. Every year, this program enables about a hundred Chinese students to obtain a French style engineering education.
In Australia, l'X collaborates with the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra, within the framework of STEEM Master's degree exchange agreements, and also shares cooperation and mobility agreements with the University of Melbourne, the University of South Australia and the University of Tasmania (UTAS).
