Eléonore Payen de la Garanderie has been appointed Director of the Ingénieur Polytechnicien program (DDCIP) at École Polytechnique, effective August 21, 2024. She previously served as Deputy Director of this program.

In her new role, Eléonore Payen de la Garanderie will interact with various departments, including the Directorate of Human and Military Education (DFHM), the Career Center, and the Directorate of Teaching and Research Operations (DOER). Her mission is to organize and ensure the coherence of the academic and pedagogical components of the Ingénieur Polytechnicien program.

In a context of evolving recruitment pathways and the integration of contemporary and future societal challenges, she will be responsible for preparing, adapting, implementing, and monitoring all pedagogical developments in the engineering program. She will ensure that the multidisciplinary nature of the education is maintained.

Eléonore Payen de la Garanderie began her career at Médisup Sciences as the Health Education Coordinator from 2015 to 2021, where she developed diverse teaching and communication methods.

In 2021, she joined École Polytechnique as Deputy Director of the Ingénieur Polytechnicien program. Over three years, she contributed to several cross-functional projects aimed at supporting École Polytechnique' students throughout their academic journey.

Graduate of the University of Caen, Eléonore Payen de la Garanderie holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from École Polytechnique. She conducted her doctoral research at the Laboratory of Molecular Chemistry (LCM) at l'X and defended her thesis in 2015.
