Bruno Angles, new President of the AX Alumni Association
Bruno Angles (X1984) was elected President of the AX Alumni Association on July 9, 2015 during the General Assembly of the Association. His predecessor, Laurent Billès-Garabédian (X1983), was President since 2011.
An École Polytechnique Graduate (Class of 1984) and Engineer in the Corps des Ponts et Chaussées, Bruno Angles (50 years old) was elected President of the AX Alumni Association on July 9, 2015.
He is since 2010 President in France of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, a group he joined in 2007 as Senior Vice-President, Head of France for Macquarie Capital Funds.
His predecessor, Laurent Billès-Garabédian, alumni from École Polytechnique (X1983) and École nationale des ponts et chaussées, was President of the Association since 2011.
Bruno Angles is a former associate of Bernard Bosson at the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, in charge of road and highway network issues (1993-1994). He was CEO of the Company for the Mont Blanc Tunnel from 1994 to 1996 before joining McKinsey & Co in September 1996 where he was first a consultant, then a project Manager and a project Director.
From 2001 to 2004, Bruno Angles was Associate Director of McKinsey & Co Paris Office. He was then CEO of VINCI Energies from 2004 to 2005 before joining in January 2006 Mercer Delta as partner. He is a member of the Board of Autoroutes Paris Rhin Rhône and Brussels Airport, and Chairman of the Supervisory Board for Macqpisto and Saft.
Before his election as President of the AX Alumni Association, Bruno Angles was President of Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées from 2006 to 2011 and Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées Alumni Association from 2003 to 2005.
