L'X renewed its historical agreement with Polytechnique Montréal
L'X renewed its historical double degree agreement with Polytechnique Montréal. Frank Pacard, Provost of l'X, signed it with François Bertrand, Director of Research, Innovation and International Affairs, and Steven Chamberland, Chief Academic and Student Life Officer, on Monday, April 23 during his visit to Polytechnique Montréal, Canada.
22 years after the signature of the first cooperation agreement, the collaboration between two "Polytechniques" is still rich and intensive.
This double degree program allows selected students from both institutions to follow an intensive joint program and obtain both an Ingénieur Polytechnicien degree and Master's degree from École Polytechnique and from Polytechnique Montréal. The program spans five academic years; students spend three years at École Polytechnique and two last years at Polytechnique Montréal. The agreement resulted from the fruitful relationship between the two institutions, which have been exchanging students as well as visiting professors and scientists for many years, especially in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.
