Les Echos recommends the MOOC on “Creating and Developing a Technology Start-up”
Co-produced by École Polytechnique and HEC Paris, the online training course “Creating and Developing a Technology Start-up” was listed among the 8 MOOCs recommended by the newspaper Les Echos to start the academic year in the right way.
The training course created and presented by Romain Beaume (X2000) and Étienne Krieger, professor and Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at HEC Paris, identifies and assesses opportunities for creating technology companies and understanding the key human, technical, commercial, environmental and financial issues involved.
The decision to create or join a technology company in its early years is a recipe for a unique adventure and is far from trivial: you must be able to accept that not all “good” ideas will lead to success, and only a small percentage of projects will meet with great success. Setting up new technology companies offers a true opportunity to help change the world, but also requires knowledge, know-how, life skills and as much experience as possible.
This course includes methodological aspects and testimonials from entrepreneurs and iconic figures from technology start-ups that help better identify the fundamental dilemmas high tech entrepreneurs must face, starting with the major life decision of founding their own company.
Open to everyone, without prerequisites or required diplomas, this 7-week training course is available year-round. Possibility of certification for a fee of €43.
