L'X, 16th most international university worldwide
The Times Higher Education has just published its world universities ranking focused on the internationalization criteria, it ranks École Polytechnique 16th worldwide. This year, l'X is among the four non-Anglo-Saxon institutions of the top 20 and is ahead of the most international French institutions.
The world 150 most international universities ranking THE 2017 has just been revealed. This ranking is based on internationalization criteria such as international reputation, the rate of foreign students and professors, and publications including at least one foreign co-author.
École Polytechnique ranks 16th in the world, taking the lead among French institutions, ahead of l'ENS (42nd), UPMC (43rd) and Université de Strasbourg (47th), as well as seven other French universities represented in the top 150. L'X goes up thirteen places compared to the 2016 ranking when it was positioned on the 29th place.
Moreover, with ETH Zurich (1st), EPFL (2nd), and University of Zurich (15th), l'X is one of four non-Anglo-Saxon institutions in the top 20.
