Stanford Ignite – Polytechnique follows the same curriculum as the Stanford campus program. It provides participants with the key business fundamentals and skills necessary to identify, organize, evaluate, and develop innovative projects. It is aimed at engineers with solid backgrounds in science or technology, PhD students and post-doctoral researchers in all fields, including the health and biotech sectors.
Launched in 2011 on the Stanford University campus, the Ignite program is currently one of the leading programs at Stanford GBS. The different modules are taught by Stanford and École polytechnique faculty members and include live sessions with on-site professors as well as distance-learning sessions featuring professors on the Stanford campus in Silicon Valley.
At the end of the program, the participants receive a certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, conferred jointly by Stanford GSB and École Polytechnique.
The following companies have sent participants to the program: Apple, Intel, Oracle, Cisco, Genentech, Microsoft and Google.
