The Financial Risk Chair, hosted by the Risk Foundation, led by Nicole El Karoui, professor emeritus at Sorbonne University, alongside Huyên Pham, professor at École Polytechnique, and supported by Société Générale, École des Ponts, École Polytechnique and its Foundation, and Sorbonne University, offers an excellent teaching program combining mathematics and finance. It provides students with unique opportunities to meet key players in the financial markets and discuss the place and role of quantitative profiles.
The X-Forum, an annual event dedicated to employability and bringing together students from École Polytechnique and Institut Polytechnique de Paris with companies, took place on November 25 and 26. During the event, Tinental, a start-up founded by Elin Flyger and Nicolò Luppi, received the ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) Innovation Award. Through its biomedical research, the École is advancing the fight against breast cancer by analysing tumour formation mechanisms. This momentum is reinforced by initiatives such as sponsored chairs, which bring together researchers, students from École Polytechnique and industrial partners to promote health through research and innovation.

The event was organized by the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, of which École Polytechnique is a founding member, in partnership with the Interdisciplinary Center for Defense and Security Studies (CIEDS) and the IHEDN Chair in Cybersecurity and Digital Sovereignty, which is affiliated with the Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale through its endowment fund.
