20 École Polytechnique graduates among the top 200 leaders of tomorrow

20 École Polytechnique alumni have been chosen by the Institut Choiseul in its annual ranking of the top 200 young French economic leaders, with 10 of them appearing in the top 100 of the list.

At under 40 years old, they are already defining the future of the French economy. 20 l’X alumni appear in a list of the top 200 economic leaders as chosen by the Institut Choiseul. The ranking serves as a benchmark in the world of economics for the fifth consecutive year.
Among them, 10 l’X graduates managed to earn a spot in the top 100. They are:
Christophe Maquet (20th), Executive Vice President, Africa and Middle East at Veolia; Geoffrey Bouquot (31st), Director of Corporate Strategy and External Relations at Valeo; Jean-Baptiste Bouzige (36th), President and CEO of Ekimetrics; Stéphane Zeghib (37th), Director of Zaoui & Co; Benjamin Frémaux (38th), Partner at Messier, Maris & Associés; Franck Lirzin (60th), Executive Director of the Residential Division at Gecina; François Valmage (62nd), Director of Strategy at EDF International; Arnaud Kolb (63rd), Group Treasury & Financing Manager at Eurofins; Mélanie Jourdain (90th), General Manager, Fluorochemicals at Arkema; and Diane Abrahams (91st), Director of Strategy, Transverse Partnerships and Innovation at La Poste.

Strong representation of l’X graduates

A total of 50 École Polytechnique graduates have appeared in the ranking since its creation in 2013. The Institut classifies profiles according to accomplishments, i.e. experience, achievements and progress; current situation, assessed according to the person’s position, reputation and influence; and, finally, potential, which is measured according to creativity, vision and business agility.
