Applications for École Polytechnique accelerator are now open

Every six months, École Polytechnique accelerator recruits a new class of startups to help them in their development. Business creators from all backgrounds can apply now and until February 29th, 2016. An "Open Doors" day is organized at the accelerator on February 5th.

Applications for startups looking to join École Polytechnique accelerator in April 2016 are now open. Future entrepreneurs are invited to discover the environment of the accelerator on the "Open Doors" day held on February 5th. Launched in spring 2015, the accelerator "X-UP" has already received two classes of startups in LA FIBRE ENTREPRENEUR – Drahi - X Novation Center, École Polytechnique's dedicated center for entrepreneurship and innovation on campus.

This program is designed to accelerate projects or startups which have just been created, particularly in the earliest stages of their development. To integrate the accelerator, startups are selected by an independent committee made up of entrepreneurs, industrial experts and investors.
Each startup is accompanied for a six-month period, renewable once, to make its project grow. Entrepreneurs are closely followed by École Polytechnique Entrepreneurship and Innovation division team, coached by professionals during specific workshops and mentored by three experts in technology, business and "lean startup development".
Through the accelerator, the startuppers have also access to renowned investors, have privileged relationships with École Polytechnique's network, community and ecosystem, and benefit from regular interventions of entrepreneurs and international experts.
The technological and scientific means available at the accelerator, especially in the prototyping space, and the proximity of École Polytechnique Research Center, make the environment extremely favorable for the development of high-tech startups, as shown by the successes of companies such as Instent (connected health), which raised one million euros last November, less than two months after having been accelerated, or Auxivia (silver economy), winner of the competition "IoT French" organised by La Poste Group and which participated in that capacity at the CES in Las Vegas in January 2016.

This acceleration program has been specifically developed in collaboration with the École Polytechnique Entrepreneurship Advisory Board, a board of international entrepreneurs who account for over 20 startups created, including 5 introduced on the NASDAQ, and a market capitalization exceeding $ 50 billion.

Those who wish to apply for École Polytechnique accelerator have until February 29th to do so and will have a chance to meet the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Team during the "Open Doors" Day held on February 5th, 2016.
