The CEO of Airbus supports l'X with a 2 million euro gift
Through his 2 million euro gift to the École Polytechnique Foundation, Fabrice Brégier, CEO of Airbus, supports École Polytechnique’s development as a Major Donor in the Monge Club – Diamond category (€1,000,000 and more).
An École Polytechnique Graduate (Class of 1980) and Engineer in the Corps des Mines, Fabrice Brégier began his career as a Test Engineer at the Creys-Malville nuclear plant in 1983, and became Sales Manager for French aluminium conglomerate Pechiney in Japan in 1984. He then worked as a civil servant (successively in Alsace for the French Ministry of Industry, then joining the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications). In 1993, he joined Matra Défense and became CEO of Matra British Aerospace Dynamics in 1998.
In 2003, Fabrice Brégier was appointed CEO and President of Eurocopterand then Airbus Chief Operating Officer in 2006. He became CEO of Airbus on June 1, 2012.
Through his support to l’X, Fabrice Brégier reaffirms the historic ties between the École Polytechnique Foundation and Airbus Group.
