HealthTech: start-ups at l’X in tip-top shape

As part of the Movember movement for male health, École Polytechnique would like to showcase the companies specialized in HealthTech that have all passed through its start-up acceleration program. Find out more about six Internet start-ups innovating in the healthcare sector.

Ubique proposes a comprehensive, gamified platform for rehabilitation and physiotherapy, used for the treatment of cerebral palsy or stroke. This start-up is one of the companies be accelerated at X-UP, the École Polytechnique Accelerator, in the seventh year since the program was created.

Kônkè develops intelligent materials for skin cancer prevention. By changing their color, these innovative materials allow medical staff to monitor in real time how much UV the skin is receiving, in order to alert them and protect against the risk of overexposure to the sun. The start-up was one of the companies if the sixth annual cohort to complete the X-UP program.

Lumedix is developing a new generation of in vitro diagnostic tests that uses luminescent nanoparticles. Lumedix was one of the companies in the sixth annual cohort to complete the X-UP program.

Anamnèse offers a new type of medical AI that is able to ask patients questions prior to a medical consultation and provide doctors with information to help them make a diagnosis. Anamnèse was accelerated at l’X during the fifth year of the X-UP acceleration program.

Healsy develops a blood sugar prediction system for diabetic patients to let them know how much insulin they require. The start-up was accelerated five years after the creation of the École Polytechnique Accelerator.  

One of the start-ups of the X-UP Accelerator’s fifth annual cohort, MyVision offers healthcare professionals an innovative teleophthalmology solution that is based on AI algorithms, for the detection of retinal diseases.
