L'X and HKUST signed a non-degree mobility agreement
École Polytechnique and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology signed a non-degree mobility agreement on June 6th, during President of l'X Jacques Biot's, visit to Hong Kong.
This cooperation agreement between l'X and HKUST promotes student exchanges at the undergraduate level and provides a favorable framework for students from both institutions to complete a semester or year at the partner university, thus validating credits for their degree.
Cooperation with the universities of Hong Kong, and in particular with HKUST, has developed with the opening of new École Polytechnique's academic programs in English, at the Bachelor's and Master's level. Thus the Bachelor program students of l'X will be able to carry out an academic semester delivered in English at HKUST, and the HKUST students will be able to come to study at l'X, in the Bachelor or Master's programs delivered in English or even in the Ingénieur Polytechnicien program if they wish to study in French.
During his visit, Jacques Biot met with Professor Shyy Wei, Acting President of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, with concurrent appointment as Executive Vice President and Provost. This meeting was an opportunity to discuss new avenues of collaboration, including research.
