A new Chair to invent the bank of the future

École Polytechnique, Natixis and HEC Paris have joined forces to create the "Business Analytics for Future Banking" Chair.

L'X has signed a partnership with Natixis and HEC to set up an International Education and Research Chair. In charge of its academic management are Julie Josse, professor at École Polytechnique; Jean-Edouard Colliard, associate professor at HEC Paris; and Vincent Fraitot, affiliate professor at HEC Paris.

This Chair seeks to contribute to the development of data culture and usage, key factors for rethinking the world of banking. Data processed using data science algorithms will help improve operational efficiency at banks and develop new value-added services.

For students: a certificate in Data Science for Management

This Chair will also enable students to tackle real cases and interact with experts from Natixis. A Data Science for Management certificate will be available to all HEC Paris and École Polytechnique students. Over four to five weeks, students from these institutions will attend theory classes and have the opportunity to work on challenges proposed by Natixis related to contemporary business issues.

Another component will be devoted to research through meetings between partners and professors-researchers, as well as lectures and seminars on topics relevant to the Chair. Under this partnership, professors-researchers will be able to define and propose research subjects.
