A delegation of representatives from the Chinese Ministry of Education and 15 Chinese universities came to l’X to discover the university and discuss cooperation with China.
A delegation of representatives from the Chinese Ministry of Education and 15 Chinese universities came to l’X on Friday, November 10th, 2017 to discuss educational quality and accreditation. The delegation met with Frank Pacard, Provost of École Polytechnique, who made a general presentation of École Polytechnique, focusing on Education, Research and Innovation.
This visit was also the opportunity to discuss the internationalization process of l’X, and more specifically cooperation between École Polytechnique and Chinese universities. L’X offers several programs which enhance international relations: internships, non-degree exchange programs for undergraduate and graduate students, summer schools and visiting programs. In all these programs, Chinese students, professors and research staffs are represented and therefore form the first international population on campus. Also, for the last 2 years, l’X has been developing new academic programs such as the Bachelor program and Graduate Degrees to attract talented international students.
This visit organized by the Chinese Ministry of Education shows that École Polytechnique is a world reference for its quality of education and research.
