Written Entrance Exams Postponed
Written entrance exams at École Polytechnique are postponed to a later date and will not take place until at least the end of May 2020.
In accordance with the measures announced by the French government regarding the changes in the schedule of national entrance exams, the written portion of the entrance exams at École Polytechnique (X-ENS-ESPCI) has been postponed to a later date and will not take place until at least the end of May 2020. The new exam dates will be communicated as soon as possible.
The entrance exams committee at École Polytechnique is currently examining the situation of admission tests and the particularly complex situation of international candidates in coordination with the SCEI (Service concours écoles d’ingénieurs) entrance exams department of French engineering schools. École Polytechnique is also working with the other CPGE (French Grandes Écoles preparatory classes) entrance exams committees and in consultation with the SCEI, in order to allow candidates to carry out the exams without scheduling conflicts.
École Polytechnique offers its full support to all French and international candidates who have been preparing for these entrance exams for many months. The entrance exams will continue to ensure the values of fairness and excellence. The School is making every possible effort to inform candidates and their families as quickly as possible about the decisions made in consultation with all schools and French Ministries involved.
