Last Saturday, March 30, 2019, the Sino-French engineering school SJTU-ParisTech Elite Institute of Technology (SPEIT) celebrated its first graduating class on the Shanghai-Minhang campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU).

The name and brand of the new institution formed by the partnership between École Polytechnique, ENSTA, ENSAE, Télécom ParisTech and Télécom SudParis was unveiled this Thursday, February 7, 2019. The new institution is named Institut Polytechnique de Paris.
