Languages and Cultures Week at l'X
From March 6th to 11th, the 2017 edition of the Languages and Cultures Week was held at École Polytechnique
Languages and Cultures Week, a multicultural event organized by X-Cultures student association with the help of the Department of Languages, aims to promote the international diversity and richness of l'X, where more than 60 nationalities interconnect. This edition was a great success and many high-quality activities were carried out thanks to the investment of students and language teachers as well as the help of the administration.
L'X welcomed His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Masato Kitera, who gave a conference on the topic "International closure". This exchange was highly appreciated by the students; They were delighted to be able to address a number of questions to Mr. Kitera, opening up interesting perspectives for reflection and discussion.
Numerous student associations have also contributed to a Latin-themed evening, an afternoon of cultural workshops and a large international cuisine buffet.
This Languages and Cultures Week was full of meetings and discoveries. The international students of l'X who organized numerous activities shared their cultural heritage with great enthusiasm. In addition, the events brought together students from the various courses offered at École Polytechnique.
