L'X and HSE, Moscow, create an international laboratory of Stochastic Algorithms and Multivariate Data Analysis
The Higher School of Economics, Moscow, launched a project competition "Creation of international laboratories of the National Research University Higher School of Economics for the period from April 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020". One of the 4 projects that has been selected among 19 international applications will be carried out by Eric Moulines.
The selection was based on the results of the international expertise and the decision of the Committee on the organization of international research projects with the participation of leading international and Russian scientists of the Higher School of Economics. The creation of four international laboratories will be supported in the framework of the project:
- International Laboratory of Stochastic Algorithms and Multivariate Data Analysis hosted by the Faculty of Computer Science of the Higher School of Economics under the leadership of Eric Moulines (Professor at the Center of Applied Mathematics, École Polytechnique, France) and Alexey Naumov (HSE);
- Laboratory of Logic, Linguistics and Formal Philosophy under the leadership of Bart Geerts (Netherlands) and Elena Dragalina-Chernaya (HSE);
- International Laboratory of Macroeconomic Analysis hosted by the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Higher School of Economics under the leadership of Hubert Kempf (ENS, France) and Sergei Pekarsky (HSE);
- International Laboratory of Experimental and Behavioral Economics under the leadership of Heike Hennig-Schmidt (Uni Bonn, Germany) and Alexei Belyanin (HSE).
